Here’s a little bit about me.
I’ve always had a keen interest in complementary health practices. My drive to become a Natural Health Practitioner kicked in to high gear after my daughters and I experienced significant improvements in our health after adopting healthier practices in to our own lives.
Recurrent cold sores, chest infections, flus, and digestive issues became less and less common in my family, and I was even able to avoid a surgery when a condition I was diagnosed with resolved itself through food and supplement ‘intervention’.
My Training
I’m both a Natural Health Practitioner (NHP) and Registered Nutrition Therapist (RNT). After several years of formally studying complementary health at the International Academy of Natural Health Sciences, the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and the Upledger Institute, I earned my NHP diploma and RNT designations.
Natural Health Practitioner
As an NHP, I understand how the body works as a whole, and also understand that every individual requires a customized approach based on their unique set of circumstances.
I also have knowledge and experience in several natural modalities, which allows me to offer numerous ways to address any health concern, focusing on those that will best suit your needs and lifestyle.
Registered Nutrition Therapist
As an RNT, I provide sound and practical counselling for the building and maintenance of nutritional well-being (which leads to overall well-being…remember, you are what you eat!), through food selection, food preparation, food combinations, supplement recommendations, and lifestyle choices.
